Why get married at Marylebone Old Town Hall?

Not only are there a choice of stylish rooms to accommodate weddings with just you and your witnesses or 100 guests, it’s the perfect spot to get married and then continue your celebrations nearby with a vast choice of pubs, restaurants and venues for your reception. You could even opt to have a picnic at nearby Regents Park!

Smack in the hustle and bustle of central London is Marylebone Old Town Hall, also know as Westminster Register Office. With its grand entrance, sweeping marble staircase and rather magnificent architecture, it’s a pretty spectacular place to get married. And yet, despite all the grandeur, it works just as well for couples planning something small, relaxed and completely their own.

Whether you’re planning a quick registry office ceremony with a handful of guests, or a slightly bigger celebration followed by lunch, drinks or a party elsewhere, Marylebone Old Town Hall is a brilliant starting point for a London wedding.

Perhaps most famously, Paul McCartney married Linda Eastman here in March 1969, with the Beatles very much in the public eye. Ringo Starr and Barbara Bach also chose Marylebone for their wedding in 1981.

Your Marylebone Wedding Photographer

As your London wedding photographer I bring 20 years of experience and more than 500 weddings behind me. My approach is relaxed, natural and documentary-led. I’m interested in the people, the personalities and the unexpected moments that make each wedding different.

I don’t think a short wedding needs to feel like a conveyor belt. Even if you’re only spending an hour or two at Marylebone Old Town Hall, every single wedding that takes place at Marylebone Old Town Hall has a special story to tell.

I’ll give you enough direction to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, but I’m not going to turn your wedding into a photoshoot. I’d much rather capture you enjoying yourselves than spend the afternoon arranging you into poses.

Most couples dread being photographed. I know the local area well and after your wedding we can head around the corner for a few minutes together before heading off for champagne and canapes.
